Unusual Brass design of three people, maybe children waiting on a bench. Exquisitely colored in in a highly reflective enamel possibly a type of polychrome. The hues are bright and vibrant in burgundy, blue and red. This is a very small piece measuring just over an inch and yet, has incredible detailing. The creamy white enamel used for the faces flowed around well shaped facial features giving each person unique character. All three seem to be looking for or at some unseen distant object. Each wears a hat and shoes and a fabulously
detailed outfit complete with collars and ties, buttons and mittens. Absolutely an exquisite piece marked made in Czechoslovakia. Also carries the number 22 that I cannot explain. If you love old enamels, this tiny little work of art will certainly captivate you! The pin stem has a bend but functions well. Ca., 1930. The enamel is intact and this piece is in very good condition.
