Don't ever be ashamed of loving the strange things that make your weird little heart happy.
This cheerful girl is a great example of the earlier SFBJ French bebes which utilized the original Jumeau Tete model. She resembles those marked 1907, and is of that time period, though marked only with size number 9, and a faint SFBJ circular logo. She stands 20 inches tall and has excellent bisque with even coloring. There are no hairlines or repairs, and no damage other than a small chip at one earring hole and a light rub to her right eyebrow. There is an almond shaped piece on the rim that looks like it may have been taken out and put back prior to firing the bisque. She has thick multi-stroke eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, large blue paperweight glass eyes, evenly blushed cheeks, pierced ears, and an open mouth with 4 teeth. She wears a wonderful long antique human wig in a beautiful auburn color accented with pink silk bows. Her fully jointed compo and wood Jumeau body has its original pink finish with typical wear and some scratches in the finish of her right thigh. She wears a lovely antique dress in white cotton with inset lace, antique French kid leather shoes, and pink beaded drop earrings.
