Stunning 28 Inch Jumeau French Bisque Bebe with Closed Mouth Size 13

This outstanding Tete Jumeau is an earlier model, with straight wrists, applied ears, and is marked on the back of her head with the red stamp. She has a gorgeous face! Her bisque is excellent with lovely creamy complexion and no damage, hairlines, or repairs. There is a small flake at one earring hole as shown. She has blue paperweight glass eyes, arched multi-stroke eyebrows, lushly painted upper and lower lashes, fine, even coloring to the face with blushed cheeks, closed mouth with small white space between, and outlined lips. She wears an extra long brown vintage human hair wig over cork pate with lots of luxurious spiral curls and wavy bangs. Her original wood and compo French body is very chunky and heavy, with straight wrists and original finish. It is marked with the blue Medaille D'or stamp. Along with some light, typical wear, she is missing her right pinkie toe, left big toe has been reglued, and the paint has worn off the back of her knee joints. She wears a wonderful antique costume consisting of a red dress in heavy cotton decorated with feather stitching and adorned with a polichinelle figural pin, complemented by unmarked red leather shoes. I think each Jumeau bebe is unique, and this one has an especially lovely face.
