This shy little angel has the most appealing face! This early portrait Jumeau bebe looks so innocent though she is grandly dressed to attend the fanciest of parties. She has the palest pressed bisque head with just a couple of chips at the neck opening, and on her right earring hole. There are no other damages, hairlines or repairs. She does have a small firing split across her right ear as shown in the photo detail. She has big, soulful brown glass paperweight eyes with mauve eye shadow, gentle multi-stroke brows, painted upper and lower lashes, evenly blushed cheeks, applied pierced ears, and a closed mouth with accented lips. Her early loose ball-jointed, straight-wristed wooden and compo body has a heavy old repaint, with a few paint chips. It is in otherwise very nice, sturdy condition. She wears a very sweet antique mohair wig in ash blonde that perfectly frames her face. Her lavish costume is more recently made by a talented seamstress and features a striped silk couturier style dress with gold piping and antique lace trim. She has antique brown leather shoes and gray open weave Jumeau socks. This one is extra special!
