Lovely Large Size 13 Bebe Jumeau Closed Mouth French Bisque Doll 28 Inches

This big girl has a very sweet, innocent look. She is quite formidable at 28 inches tall, and a heavy, straight-wristed body. She has beautiful creamy bisque with a wig pull on the forehead, a light rub to the forehead, bottom of the top lip, and front right earlobe. She has a light firing crack off the rear rim. There is no other damage, hairlines or repairs to the head. She has soulful brown paperweight glass eyes, multi-stroke eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, evenly blushed cheeks, pierced applied ears, dimpled chin, and closed mouth with accented lips. She has a hard wood/cork pate and fantastic antique human hair wig in dark blonde that has been freshly washed and styled into long spiral curls. Her fully jointed wood and compo body is sturdy, but has considerable wear and overpaint areas from long ago. It maintains much of its original finish, including the blue Jumeau stamp on the lower back. She wears a fabulous embroidered white heavy cotton sleeveless dress that looks original. I washed it, as it was quite soiled, and it came out great. I paired it with a pretty antique blouse. Her antique shoes have the cloaked figure imprint, and appear to be original. They are quite worn and missing one toe decoration. She is topped off with a fine antique straw hat adorned in rose silk ribbons.
