In 1963 I was working as an assistant Textile stylist for woven goods for a men's wear textile mill...REEVES BROS. We had this fabric then and it was a blend of Arnel & Cotton. With this blend we were able to cross dye it to achieve two different colors. I developed many of the color combinations that were offered with this fabric. The greige goods were a white woven seersucker.
This jacket was made by PALM BEACH & Tailored Expressively for NAT KAPLAN of Spring Valley, NY. It has a union label from the 1960's. The jacket has body and nice shoulder pads. It features 2 button closure, flap pockets, center vent and is partially lined.. It is in excellent vintage barely worn condition. It is very vibrant looking. The size is marked 44 Short. I suggest a dry cleaning of all vintage items.
Here are the measurements.....
