This LARGE Torso of a women was used as a display and dressmaker form in the 1950's. It was found in a basement of an old building in the garment district of Manhattan. Soon there will be a new building in its place!
The Torso is made of paper mache. You can see the layers of paper involved in making this torso. In addition to being used for display in a store or a fitting form...it can also be used as an art form. Just use your imagination!
The LARGE Torso of a woman measures 31.5" tall from nape of neck & 35.5" tall from top of neck; 44.5" bust; 36" waist; and 45.5" hips.
