This is a recent FIND...along with two other pots and a big TUB...all of European/German light gray swirl and brown. I was taking my friend, Marjorie, from NYC around to my usual haunts and there it was! I was not looking to buy that day. Then, you never know! These pieces were part of a larger set. Some were marked Germany, but the ones that I selected were not. These came from a home with a German heritage. These belonged to the person's Mother and even though she liked them she was unable to take them to Florida with her; since she had a large home full of good stuff!
The large stock pot is brown on the outside and the inside is light gray swirl. The inside of the pot is in very good condition. There is no rust; there might be a several rows of lines in a semi-circle on the bottom, but very light. This pot can be used to cook your meals. The rim of the pot and the steamer have minimal chips.
The steamer is pale gray graniteware. It is in very good condition. This stock pot and steamer can be used. There are minimal chipping on rim. There are two pot covers to this set; one light gray graniteware; the other brown. Please look at the photos to see the condition. There were very well kept over the years!
The measurements for the stock pot is 7" tall; and 9" diameter.
The measurement for the light gray enamelware steamer is 5.25" tall; 11.75" from handle to handle; and 9.25" in diameter. Please see the rest of the collection. I will put more out on 3/14. ENJOY!!
