The Bermudiara Harmony Hall Belmont Club was closed around 2005 after 50 years in business. It was purchased by the Bermuda Government in May 2008 to provide accommodation for overseas police recruits. Thousands of people were sad to see it close. It was popular family oriented hotel that was also popular for honeymoon retreats. I was fortunate to obtain 5 sets of cups/saucers from this memorable hotel.
The cups and saucer sets are in excellent condition. They show no use. They feature a dainty violet flower. They were made Tuscan Bone China a Wedgwood Group in England. They are numbered at BS-4034 & 2 are hand numbered. Four have light green stamps and one has a dark green stamp. The saucers are 5" in diameter and the cups are 3" tall x 3.25" diameter.
There are also a 3 piece set of matching creamers in graduating sizes. The heights are: 4.5"; 3.5"; & 2 3/4" tall. The creamers were photographed while they were still wet.
There are 10 pieces [5 cups/saucers] that come in this set. They are priced at $139.00 for set.
