Very interesting hand hewn wood rectangular bowl from the 1800's. I think it is cherry wood. The wood is thick. It has age related wear in the wood and surface crack in the middle of the bowl. One side / handle has 3 round holes. The back has some wear to wood on side in mid section. Since the wood is thick the imperfections do not go through to the opposite side of the bowl. The bowl shows a lot of character which makes it more interesting. The Trencher bowl measures 24" long x 11" wide x 5" tall.
