This is the type of dolls that baby's played with in the 1940's and 50's. This one held up very well. I believe the body is stuffed with cotton batting and it is covered in a red and blue dotted plastic sheeting with a yellow back, a blue hood, and red apron and collar. The mask face has all the original bright painting. One side of the apron is stapled the other is taped. There is bleeding from the red bib on the white ground of the doll's chest It could use a nice bath. It has dust in the hood crevices and the body is a little dirty in places.
The mask face has lightly colored whiskers. The doll stands 12" tall and 8" with out-stretched arms. This is a great gift for THAT person with the doll collection! I bet she does not have this one! It is hard to find.
Be sure to see all of the photos! ENJOY!
