This little spoon is stamped by Rogers and on front of handle is a mighty White Oak tree which is Connecticut’s state tree. In the bowl of spoon is an embossed picture of a male deer and also the Latin phrase of “post Nubila Phoebus” meaning roughly “after darkness there is light” or “after bad there will be good”. On back of bowl it is shaped like an acorn and a lovely branch half way down the handle. Check out the pictures on this pretty little spoon that is in very good condition with very little wear if any! It is 4 and ¼” in length.
