I love these old pieces of history! This roller with vessel was used in offices to wet multitudes of envelopes and stamps. This one is the smaller version with overall size at 2 ½” x 2 ¼” x 1 ¾ not counting the removable roller. What they would do is feel the vessel up with water and then replace the roller so that when you run your stamp or envelope on the roller it gets it wet. It saved many a tongues! Check out the pictures on this light yellow piece, they usually come in an off white. It is in very good condition and could be utilized again if need be. Made by Sengbusch and named the Ideal Junior. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
