This magazine was dedicated to music and music lovers. It was founded by a man name Presser in Virginia. It was first published in 1883 and ended sadly in 1957. The articles are about musical history, literature and politics of the times in the world of music. This issue has an article on Eleanor Steber (a soprano in the Metropolitan Opera Co.), also an interesting article on Alexander Siloti. An interview with Percy Faith, First Steps in Vocal Training, the operatic side of Shakespeare and lots more. There are also some interesting musical pieces in this issue as there are in most of the magazines. I love the front cover with the three enthusiastic boys playing their instruments. It could be a great cover to have framed. Overall size is 10 ½" x 12". It is in good condition with no rips or tears but it has foxing on pages.
