This modern line creamer and sugar bowl set called “Ballon” features décor based on Jean Mercier’s famous watercolor paintings. Three sides boast scenes of hot air ballooning while the fourth shows lovely ladies, in billowing crinoline dresses and parasols, out flying kites. The colors of all the pictures are vibrant and the mood is playful. They serve as a tribute to Mercier’s celebrated illustrations.
The creamer measures 4” spout to handle end x 3 5/8” tall x 3” wide at base. The sugar bowl is 5” wide handle to handle x 3” tall to top of lid x 3” wide at base.

There is a small carefully repaired chip to the inside lip of the sugar bowl’s rim (does not show with lid on). Otherwise in very good condition and waiting to be enjoyed.
