We’re offering a set of four very old pressed glass berry bowls in the Button and Daisy pattern, trimmed with bright amber stain. All four of the little dishes give a brilliant kaleidoscopic effect when held to the light; the intricate pattern covers the surfaces entirely. The top edges are cut in a combination of curve and saw tooth. (All “saw tooth” points are blunted which attests to the authenticity of the pieces.)
Each bowl measures 5 ¾” long x 3 1/2” wide x 1 7/8” high.
The pieces are unmarked but are most likely from Hobbs, Brockunier, 19th century.
The condition of three of the pieces is very good, showing only some minor wear. One bowl, however, has a shallow chip to the inside of the highest curve which removed a bit of the yellow color, measuring ½” x ¼” in size (see last photo).
Altogether a gorgeous old glass set! They would be outstanding in a display.
