This is a charming glass tumbler featuring Mary and her lamb going to school. The cold-painted pictures, all in white, show Mary looking surprised to see the lamb behind her, the lamb, and the old-fashioned schoolhouse. Measures 2 ¼” across the rim x 4 1/8” tall. There is a 5/8” clear glass border at the top, probably to hold a clamp-on lid.
Embossed on bottom with a large capital H straddling a smaller capital A. This mark was used by Hazel-Atlas from the 1920s into the 1950s.
The condition is excellent with only the small manufacturing quirks common in jelly glasses; and it’s very cute!
Antique and vintage porcelain, pottery, glass, collectibles and, of course, knick-knacks too!
Happy New Year and thanks to our customers and visitors in 2017! We look forward to bringing you new goodies in 2018!
