Here is a lovely little hand painted Royal Worcester ring dish in their aesthetic movement style called blush ivory. The inside of the dish is a cream-color matte adorned with beautiful deep pink apple blossoms and yellow wildflowers. These are lined and highlighted with 22k gold. The rim is also lined with 22k gold. The back of the little bowl is pure white. It measures 3 ¼” in diameter x ¾” deep.
Underside bears Worcester’s mark in puce without England and with a lower case 'a' under the crest. This makes the date 1890 (Godden’s #4350). It’s also marked twice with Li in green and W in black. Another W and a 4-digit number appear in gold (identifying the artist who applied the gold). No reg. number; no pattern number.
Condition is excellent with some crazing along the edge of the bowl floor.
