Enoch Wedgwood Huntsman Character Plate, Tunstall, StaffordshireEnoch Wedgwood Huntsman Character Plate, Tunstall, StaffordshireEnoch Wedgwood Huntsman Character Plate, Tunstall, Staffordshire

Done all in blue on white, this small character plate resembles Delft ware and has the same charm. The subject is a huntsman sitting in a high-backed chair in a pub. He holds his riding crop in one hand and a glass in the other. His arm rests on a table on which he has placed his hat and hunting horn. His dog sleeps under the table next to his master’s sturdy boots. There’s a small cartouche at the bottom of the picture with Huntsman written in blue.

Plate measures 4 ¼” in diameter x 5/8” high.

Mark on back is Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd arched over a unicorn head with England / Trade Mark / Founded in 1835. This mark was used by Enoch Wedgwood from 1965-1980 (The Potteries). Condition is excellent with no flaws, chips, cracks scratches or crazing.

We have two more plates in this series and will be happy to combine postage should you wish to purchase more than one.
