We’re offering this delicately painted little Royal Crockery ring or trinket box shaped like a pedestal bowl. It is adorned in European Empire style with geometric designs of powder blue on white, with coral-colored flowers and gold enamel linear motifs. The outside bottom edge and inside foot of cup are ringed with moriage style beading. The sweet little finial is gold enameled.
Box measures 3” tall to top of finial; lid is 2 5/8” wide; base 1 5/8” wide; bowl is 2 1/5” in diameter and 2 7/8” tall without the lid.
Mark on underside of foot is Hand Painted in red over stylized RC (for Royal Crockery) in green, over Nippon in green. Used between 1911 and 1921 (when U.S. began requiring Japan to use the American rendition of its name).
Except for very light wear to the unglazed table ring, this lovely little item is in excellent condition with no flaws of any kind. We know you’re going to love using it or giving it as a present!
Antique and vintage porcelain, pottery, glass, collectibles and, of course, knick-knacks too!
