Red roses, forget-me-nots and yellow rose buds adorn this charming Royal Winton 3-piece set. There’s a creamer, open sugar bowl, and serving tray in the chintz pattern, Victorian Rose which is discontinued. Creamer and sugar each have gold enamel edges, with a second line of gold on the rim interior. Tray also has a gilded edge.
Tray is 8" long by 5" wide, and 3/4" high. Sugar is 2 5/8" square and 2 1/2" tall. Creamer is 4 4/8" from lip to handle end, and 2 1/2" tall. S and C both have a 1 5/8" square foot.
Royal Winton marks circa 1934 to 1940s (Royal Winton Company web site), and also stamped in gold for registration in Canada, 1953. This pattern may have been made for the Canadian market. In excellent condition, with only some underglaze crazing typical of chintz made in this era.
