Here is a little fat teapot inspired by Isle of Guernsey tea pots (modeled after their famous copper milk cans).This one is American silver plate and bears a woven rattan handle. Tight-fitting lid has a strainer as does inside of spout. This is pattern #63. Measures 5 7/8” tall x 5 ½” wide at widest; base is 2 3/8” diameter. Impressed mark on underside is for E.G. Webster & Son, a lion, a crown and a fleur de lis, used from 1886-1960. E.G. Webster was known for its English reproductions.
Small dimple to lower half (last photo); some light wear to handle. Vintage condition is excellent, very shiny and clean.
