Beatrix Potter writes, “Cecily Parsley lived in a pen, and brewed good ale for gentlemen…” And here is Cecily preparing to brew a batch as she pours one of her ingredients from her apron into a large pail. The ingredient? Hops, of course!
Cecily Parsley is a lovely brown rabbit who wears a long blue dress and a long white apron tied in a little bow at the back, above her large white tail.
