More from The Knic Knac Nook
We have here a single cast iron bookend in the shape of an ox-drawn covered wagon with two settlers, a woman driving the wagon and a man walking alongside with his shotgun, all mounted on a textured iron base. Signed on back Champion Hardware Copyright 1931. Measures 6” long x 2 7/8” tall. Heavy white enamel shows some paint loss, a bit of chipping at very bottom of base and extremities of wagon cover. Could be re-painted, or left as-is. A very satisfying little object.
