We have here a Metlox Poppytrail Pitcher in the Blue Homestead Provincial pattern. Pitcher is white speckled with blue and shaped to resemble a metal tankard with a wide flaring spout. Scene in blue transfer on front and left of a man plowing a field; corn shocks and a farmhouse are in background. On right side of pitcher is a row of porcelain rivets from top to bottom like those on some old tankards. Handle has finger grips and porcelain rivets.
Mark is Poppytrail by Metlox Made in California. This pattern made from 1950-1982. Measures 6” from handle to spout x 6 7/8” tall with a 4 1/2” diameter base.
