A sweet little cold painted white china elephant, unmarked, but surely from an old California pottery. His unusual proportions add to his charm: his head is almost as large as his whole body. He is snow white glazed china, highlighted only by the painted mouth and eyes. His trunk is thrown back over his head, and his very short legs make this little elephant quite rotund and baby-like. Figure measures 1 3/4" tall x 2" wide; it has an open base which feels a little rough. There is some paint loss to the cold painting, and a very small chip inside the hollow rim. No other faults to this baby elephant; he's just sweet, cute - and little.
