Delicate and lovely, this Pouyat, Limoges yellow rose demitasse set is of the finest translucent porcelain. The artist's delicate work, done in 1897, includes beautiful yellow roses on both cup and saucer and white enamel embellishments to the form's scroll work, which make a thoughtfully blended design.
Both pieces are stamped under glaze with the Pouyat Limoges mark used from 1890-1932 (Gaston #5); saucer is signed and dated by the porcelain painter: "EMP, 4/97." Saucer measures 4.5" in diameter; dainty cup is 2.25" across the top.
Both pieces are in perfect condition, waiting to join your collection.
