Signed antique Bradley Hubbard solid brass Victorian banquet or parlor oil lamp electrified for modern lighting. Stunning brass detail and Corinthian style column. Marble stone decorative column piece as well. Solid brass base. Of interest is the marking on the wick control noted as" Patent Applied For". Hubbard held dozens of patents for these lamps and this may have been an earlier lamp. We dated this to the 1890's.
Lamp is a more banquet size at 30 1/2" to the top of the period correct clear glass chimney. A hand painted milk glass globe measures 10" in diameter and features the original brass opening guard. The solid brass base is 6" square. Excellent excellent condition, we could find no flaws and the lamp works perfectly with updated cord and socket.
