Hard-to-find expansion bracelet adorned with about 60 Lucite cubes, each a little over 1/4 inch on a side. The colors are distributed inside each cube so that the beads look different depending on the angle. These beads were made by the Best Plastics Corporation of Providence RI, in the 1960s. There are matching bangles, necklaces, and earrings but these bracelets don't show up often. The entire line would have been sold in a department store, probably by Trifari.
The bracelet would be good for a range of sizes including a larger hand or wrist because it stretches from 2 1/4 across to nearly 4 inches across. When unstretched, it fits a small wrist with a little movement.
Condition is very good -- there is a little discoloration to the metal on the inside.
A matching necklace is listed as item 1480.
