A matched pair of pretty Peking glass bangles, which were most likely originally used as handles for sewing baskets and probably date to the early twentieth century. They work very well as bangles for someone with a small hand. They make a lovely jingle when worn together. They are a creamy color, with a mottled pink and green pattern suggestive of jade.
The bangles are 5/16 inch wide and a little under 5/16 thick. The opening is 2 7/16 inches across. The condition is very good but with a few small dark marks here and there.
