Pair of Chinese square form vases done in Famille Rose. Each side is painted with flowers along with Buddhist symbols and flying bats. The neck of the vase is A large lotus bloom is featured on each side of the neck in a bed of flowers on a yellow ground. The sides have dog head handles in blue with stationary rings in gilt. The inside of the vases is glazed in white. The base glazed the same with the base rim left unglazed. Each vase carries a six character mark of Jiaqing 1796-1820 in iron red, but are later, most likely Republican. Purchased from the estate of a collector in Portugal.

Condition: Good condition, no breaks and/or cracks. There is some small flaking of the enamels
