Chinese porcelain circular table screen mounted in a carved wooden frame, decorated in polychrome landscape with waterfall and village scene. The piece has the signature of Wang Yeting. This piece was made in China in the first quarter of the 20th century and was possibly destined for the export market considering the troubled times that this was produced in. These wares were produced as table screens as it was considered impolite to watch ladies eating at table.
Size: Plaque is 12" diameter and the frame is 17-1/2" square
Condition: Good condition
Note: Due to Ruby Lanes new requirement that all items of an antique nature must come with verification from a recognized authority in the field or purchased from a major auction house, which would be highly cost prohibited and would have to be passed on in the cost to the buyer, I have altered the description to comply.
