Old Chinese thickly potted crackle-glazed porcelain bowl in the style of 'ge' wares made in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The bowl is covered inside and out with a blue-grey glaze suffused with dark grey ('iron wire') and gold ('golden thread') crackle. The bottom of the foot shows the remains of a brown dressing that was applied.
In perfect condition (please refer to pictures). Quite a heavy bowl also.
Approximately 3-1/8" high by 6" diameter
Note: Due to Ruby Lanes new requirement that all items of an antique nature must come with verification from a recognized authority in the field or purchased from a major auction house, which would be highly cost prohibited and would have to be passed on in the cost to the buyer, I have altered the description to comply.
