This is the neatest design! This is an old 11 1/2" long hand made coin box. It could also be used for small parts but for the most part it's first days were spent being a portable cash box. See the slanted innards? That's so you could slip or slide a coin out with one finger. You've got your quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies accounted for with just the right number of compartments. All original finish and handle. Note the inside with the small repaired bits and pieces of old tin! Really really cool! My best guess on the age is 1930s. What's your guess?
