A very rare example of a lovely doll from a series character children by Kestner firm. The produced dolls of this series must have been limited as they are extremely rare to find. They were advertised as " true to life".
She has socket head, blue glass sleep eyes (most pf the „182“ came with painted eyes what makes this doll very desirable and rare!), painted curly lashes, slightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig. Her body is composition and wooden ball-jointed, she still remains her original Kestner cork.
Her original undergarments have lovely lace decoration, antique socks and shoes. She wears a blue original antique dress decorated with lace and silk and pearl buttons (the dress is in excellent condition, the doll was never played with).
These dolls sale for 3500-4000$, for reference please check "The Well-Bred Doll" Theriault's catalog.
