This gorgeous ring from the 1920s is set with sparkling marcasites and a glowing orange cabochon in 835 silver. Marcasite is faceted iron pyrite and once was referred to as "brilliants" in the Jazz era because of how they sparkle in the candlelight. A beautiful Art Deco ring to add to your collection!

The ring is in very good to good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. There are no missing and only one chipped marcasite, and the plastic is intact and firmly secure. The cabochon has some signs of abrasion, which creates a matte appearance in a small section. The silver's surface has light signs of wear from age but nothing noticeable. The inside of the shank is stamped 835 (83.5% silver, a mark used in Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.) There are spots of heavy patina in the shank that can be polished upon request.

The ring is a size 5.75 and can be sized. The ring measures 7/8" tall by 6/8" wide and weighs 4.51 grams. The box is for display only.

I try to show in the item's description and images an accurate portrayal of the item. Please note the measurements given in the details section, as the item can appear larger than the actual size.
