This antique brooch from the 1910s is a stunning example of early 20th-century craftsmanship. It features intricate silverwork depicting a Scottish thistle adorned with imitation Cairngorm and amethyst stones. The thistle, a symbol of Scotland’s resilience and pride, adds rich cultural significance to this beautifully detailed piece.

The pin is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The silver has fine lines and marks typical of antique jewelry, nothing noticeable or obvious. The plastic imitation gemstones have light surface wear but no chips or cracks. The silver has a dark patina layer that can be polished upon request. The brooch is not marked or stamped.

The brooch measures 1-5/16" tall by 1-3/4" wide and weighs 8.87 grams. The box is for display only.

I try to show an accurate picture of the item in my photographs and written descriptions. Please note the measurements in the description, as images can often make the item appear more substantial than its actual size.
