This is an older hardbound book written by Ruth S Freeman, Educational Director Yorker Yankee Village Museum, Watkins Glen New York. The introduction explains the focus of American made dolls. Several pages are devoted to the history of various types of dolls and then the rest of the book is broken down into “named” dolls. Cloth, china, vinyl, paper, character and advertising dolls are just of the few types of dolls that are represented. It is filled with informative text, black and white photos and old catalog and magazine ad reprints. Many patent illustrations are also included. It contains 112 pages including the index. It has a 1962 copyright and it was published by Century House.

It measures about 5 5/8” by 8 ½” by ½” and it is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The inside pages are crisp & clean and the spine is tight. The hard, linen cover is in very good condition with minimal edge and corner wear. It has no dust cover.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
