This is an eye catching man's ring with a beautifully colored turquoise stone set in a silver mount. The stone has a rich greenish color with some ochre brown and dark variations. It is set in a simple bezel on a wide, tapering band of silver. On either side of the stone is a scrolly leaf design that is reminiscent of some Black Hills gold designs but with less detail and definition. It has been tested to be .925 sterling silver. This was made by an Idaho artist in the 1970's. Inside it is engraved with the artist’s initials RR and the date ’75. It also has an inscription engraved inside the band. Part of it is already quite faint and it MAY BE POSSIBLE to buff it out even more but I am not a metal artisan so I cannot guarantee that this can be done so it may have to be considered part of the charm of an estate piece of jewelry.

The stone measures about ¾” wide across the finger by 13/16” in length. The width of the band measures about ½” at the top by about ¼” at the bottom. It measures between a size 10 ½ and 11 on my ring mandrel. It weighs approximately 11.5 grams. It is an estate piece of jewelry in very good condition with light usage wear.
