This old green glass bottle once held Green River syrup for Fountain, Sodas, Sundaes, Shakes. It also has the proportions of 1 to 5. Soda syrups were often dispensed from pump dispensers and then soda water was added into the glass for effervescence. This was labeled with the intention that the bottle would being inverted on a dispenser and therefore the paper label that appears upside down is displayed right side up when it is inverted onto a glass or crockery dispenser. The bottle held one gallon and was distributed by the Green River Corp of Chicago. It has its original metal lid with the Green River logo. I believe this is from the 1950’s.
It measures about 12” tall and about 6” in diameter and is in good condition with minimal wear and no damage to the glass. The paper label is in generally good condition with light edge wear and surface rub wear.

Use the shipping calculator to determine shipping costs. Foreign shipping will be determined by the receiving country. Due to the size, it will have to ship in what is considered a “Large” box which automatically costs more. If I have overestimated the shipping size and weight and the shipping turns out to be less than what you are charged, the overage will be refunded to you.
