This little medal is fashioned in the shape of a shield. An archer is depicted on the front with the arrow pulled back and the bow taunt. In the banner across the bottom it reads; Pacific Northwest Archery Association. It appears that there are seven tiny stars at the very bottom but in fact two of the five appear to be tiny maple leaves so I would imagine that Canada was a part of the association. Engraved on the back is; 2ND Woman’s 1956. A small jump ring is in the attached ring at the top of the medal. It is not marked sterling but has tested to be so. This would make a nice addition to any sports related charm bracelet or it could be worn as a little pendant on a chain.
It measures about 1” to the top of the attached ring and about 7/8” wide. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear.
