This little porcelain novelty was made by the S & V company of Germany and it epitomizes young love. A little girl that looks like a Dolly Dingles illustration is seems to be a little reluctant yet pleased at the attention being doted upon her by a little boy giving her a big hug. She’s wearing a green dress and he’s wearing pink overalls and they both have wide googly eyes. The bottom front reads; I’m Just Crazy About You. The back has a small open receptacle that was probably intended to be used for holding matches which could be struck on the slightly textured base or even on her dress or the horizontal line on her hair. On the bottom it is marked with the Schafer & Vater crown mark (it’s near the dark spot which may be remnants of an old price sticker).

It measures about 3 ¾” tall and the base measures about 3 1/8” by 1 5/8”. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
