This old bronze medal was obviously for a golf tournament. It is nicely detailed with the image of a golfer in the action of taking a swing. I believe it is bronze even though it is not marked. The medal is attached to an old satin ribbon by means of a couple of jump rings and there is an attached pin at the top of the off-white ribbon. It is not engraved on either the front or the back but I believe this is from the early 1900’s.
The medal measures about 1 ¼” long by 7/8” across and the overall length with the ribbon is about 2 5/8”. The medal is in very nice condition with minimal wear and nice original patina. There is a slightly discolored circle on the back where a tag may have been. The ribbon has minimal soiling and pin works properly.
