This little dish has a slightly modernistic feel with a shape that could be described as a paraboloid. The white porcelain has a pale avocado green edge, black outlined yellow flowers and pale yellow ribbons. It is detailed with tiny raised dots and accented with gold. This would be considered an individual as opposed to a master salt. Each person at the table would have his own little dish of salt accompanied by a little spoon. The bottom has the blue pagoda mark which reads; Hand Painted Nippon which is generally referred to as the #71 mark.
It measures about 3 ½” by 3 1/8” by roughly 1 1/8” high. It is in good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
