This is an unusual old tape measure because the first 37 ¼” is marked in 1/8 and 1/4 scale and the last two feet are in inch increments with 16 and 32 divisions. The beginning of the tape reads; Top Line 1/8 = 1 Foot / Lower Line ¼ = 1 Foot. There is nothing on the back side of the tape. The steel tape is in a metal housing with a plastic advertising panel on one side. It reads; Ameritone - Professional Paint Finishes - Vi-Cly Industries, Inc. -Compton, Cal(if). The bottom of the tape housing reads; Barlow Minitape BM72. The tape is pulled out and pushed in manually.
The case measures about 1 ½” by 1 5/8” by 3/8” thick. The tape is in good condition with minimal wear and no kinks or damage. The case is in nice condition with minor scuff wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
