This old sterling thimble has a tooled design that looks like three-section leaves with lots of scrolls and adornments. The detailing is in beautiful condition with almost no wear. Inside the crown it is marked; Sterling along with the hallmarks that I believe are for the Stern Bros. Co. of Philadelphia & N.Y., ca 1908 - 1912. It has a small "B" and a small "C" within a large "S" and also has an entwined anchor. It is also marked with the number 10 which is likely the size.
It measures about 7/8” high and about 5/8” in diameter and is in nice condition with very minimal wear. The stippled area is in good condition with no holes.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
