This old box was for Foley Cathartic Tablets distributed by Foley & Co. of Chicago. The box originally contained 40 “Strictly Vegetable” tablets, probably in a bottle. Inside the box is a folded sheet with directions in 12 languages other than English and advertising about the company and its other products.

The box measures about 3” by 1” square and is in good condition with minimal edge and corner wear. The pamphlet measures about 6 ¾“ by 10 3/8” and is in good, folded condition.
