This old celluloid backed mirror is advertising a box of candy from the Mueller-Keller Candy Co. of St. Joseph, Missouri. It shows a white box with a pink rose and it is tied with a pink ribbon. In very tiny print on the box it reads; Rosary Chocolates - The Aristocrat of The(m All) - Mueller-Keller (Co.). Some of the letters are obscured by the “ribbon” on the box. Across the top it reads; Rosary Chocolates - Just a Little Better. Across the bottom it reads; Compliments of Duwe & Green. Along the outer edge it reads; Parisian Nov. Co. Chicago. I believe this is from the early 1900’s.
It measures about 2 ¼” in diameter and is in good condition with minor wear. The celluloid has minor, under-surface bumps and minor scuff wear. The mirror side has some dark streaks and specks but is not cracked or broken and in generally good condition. The metal ring around the mirror has some light rust and discoloration.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
