This little mug was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. It is the Plainsman Pattern which was originally introduced in 1948 as the Oklahoma pattern. I believe this is their Desert Gold color, a pale yellow beige glaze over the red Sapulpa clay. On the bottom is the raised Frankoma name and the design number 5C. This is similar to another cup I have for sale but the other one has the Ada clay and the glaze varies in color.

The cup measures about 3 1/8” high and about 3 ¼” in diameter excluding the handle. It is in good condition with minimal wear. There is some age crazing on the inside.
