This colorful old menu is from the Oil Bowl Snack Bar, a bowling alley, I believe in Texas. The front of the menu features a yummy strawberry sundae and the back of the menu has a picture of the Magic Kingdom with a Carnation delivery truck parked in front. It reads; Carnation Fresh Milk & Ice Cream – The Exclusive Choice of Disneyland. The menu itself is fun to see with hot dogs for 25c, charcoal burgers starting at 30c and T-bone steak dinners for $2.50. The fountain offered Coke and other drinks starting at 10c, sundaes and even a banana split for 39c!. There is also a sheet of Specials stapled to the right side with several items including a Mexican Plate for 65c. There must have been a breakfast menu since it notes that breakfast was served starting at 7am and curb service was from 11am to midnight. It’s not dated but I believe it is from the late 1950’s or the early 1960’s.
It measures about 6 ½” by 10” in its closed state and is in fairly nice condition with light edge and corner wear and some scuff wear. Also there is a stain along the lower edge of both pages and a price of 55c has been penciled in under the Club Sandwiches.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
